Daily Journal Entry

Share a memory about your grandparents . What makes them so special to you ?

I remember my Lolo Emong when he was still alive and I just gave birth to my first born son . Life was challenging that time and he would give part of his allowance for the milk of my son . I am so touched with his thoughtfulness for me . I so appreciate this gesture during that time as I was only 26 years old and a new Mom . My Lolo was just like my Dad who was so supportive of me in all my life endeavors .

My Lola Viring I shared in my previous daily journal entry that she would usually asked me to sleep during after lunch siesta but that after she takes her sleep I would escape and play and comes back when she is about to wake up. My lola loves me so much that I even lived with her till we transfer to our present house at the next street. She also prepares a lot of delicious food when I was young .

I have both loving memories of my grandparents and with their generosities with their relatives coming from the provinces who they have always have a place to stay for them whenever they travel to Manila for varied reasons.
