Seizing The Moment

Just be .

As if you are in twilight zone again where you are uncertain what the future will bring . But God's delays are not God's denial . As I heard in the TV today " The power of delay is an even bigger harvest ". I know in my heart that even if now I am in a plateau , tomorrow I will be more blessed and God is just using this time to sharpen me.

How we wish to know the perfect timing but God has His way of testing our faith in Him. He knows what is good for us and what is best for us. Hopefully the God given dream will now come my way.

Past mistakes ?  Are there really past mistakes  ? Because if you carefully analyze it you have learn from these events and have made you a better person . Nothing is coincidental . Everything happens for a reason . There are lessons to learn in every event in our lives .

Pain gave us strength to be better than our present self . If you fight it , the more it lingers and cause you to be bitter. Sometimes just let it be and it will just go away. Another day has set and you are now a better person.

Frustrations ...as I've said God's delays are not God's denials . They happen to test our ability to withstand the challenges we face every day.

Accomplishments ...when you remember them they gave you energy and confidence to go out and enjoy life . Face more challenges and accomplish more .

Integrity ...a treasure you enshrine in your life and fight for in your daily struggles for truth and justice for all.

Vision ...what a grand word .To think I thought only companies are entitled for a vision. My vision for myself is to put up a Training firm where I can help people reach their full potential.

Resolutions ...well, not used making one for myself ... the only resolutions I make is when we make case resolutions for disciplinary incidents...

I was so hungry for information , new knowledge and skills because the past years I seem to have just drifted . Though I did not waste time I enjoy family time and be available to my children . But now that they are on their way on having a life of their own . Again I discover myself hungering for growth , for career advancement for myself.... breaking new avenues...

Healing The Child Within

Part of us is a wounded child within that may feel neglected , ignored or simply not given enough attention as a child . We grow up as adults but there are times we feel something is  missing in our lives . We may be successful on the outside with all of our material possessions  and career advancement . But still we are looking for something ... that we can't seem to find.

Some of us even get obsessions on toys, houses, people .. we collect these things not knowing why but later realizing that it was a deprivation in the early part of our life that cause us these obsessions.
A popular TV host seems to have a passion for houses , now he is saying this was because when he was a child their family could not provide a decent home for him . When he went to work in the city , he just rents a small apartment. But now he has mansion like houses , not just one but a couple of houses in different provinces .

We are looking for something we can not define ...Some of us even get sick because we can't find the answers to our questions ...we wonder ..what it is ? Some even fall to addictions ...food, drugs, sex, other material possessions like gadgets ...but still no answers...

When we try to look back in our lives , through therapy or counseling , that's when we discovered that inner child ...still neglected , logical reasoning takes over intuition ( inner mind ) ...but that was along time ago. Yes, but the child within us still wants to be notice and given attention.... because we were not recognize or praise for a good deed. Most of the time we were criticize even ridicule whenever we commit mistakes.

Now that we are adults, the wounded child seem to be resurfacing , trying to get our attention by sometimes being sick ... because when we are sick we get everybody's attention . We become well when we already get  the attention that we crave for.

There is a psychotherapy on healing the child within us . They provide experiential trainings or exercises involving self awareness, creative arts healing , journaling - to free the wounded child and set her free to reconcile with the Adult self now.

The creative arts of drawing , dancing and other creative arts activities - resurfaces the child within us as it recalls the painful experience of childhood and recognizing this , eventually frees the wounded child in us .

We can now face our life as Adults and let the child within us play through recreational activities , much needed breaks and vacations ... our adult and child now reconciles for our good health and a peaceful and successful life.

God's Miracles

Last Sunday the gospel talks about the feeding of the 5000 , it dawned on me ,with the priest's accompanying sermon that Jesus makes miracles , yes but we are a part of the miracle.

Jesus asked the disciples " what do you have ?", to which they responded 5 fish and 3 loaves of bread...then this initial offer from a boy was able to feed the 5000.

 In the miracle of Cana, Jesus asked for water, which he turn into wine. The miracle of oil for the poor widow, this one is amazing. There was still oil available but the widow does not have anymore jars to put the oil.

It is just like us there is still available miracle for us but we have run out of " jars", do you know why ?

Because...
 we have limited thinking
 we feel we do not deserve God's amazing grace
 we are afraid of success so we can't handle it
 we have a poverty mentality
 we are afraid to ask God for our miracles

In Jeremiah , the Lord said "you do not have because you do not ask"

So ask God for you miracles

Your own house
 your own car
 good health
 a happy family
 your own business perhaps
 even just a parking space in the mall
peace of mind

 Name it and you can have it...

The first key to our miracles is with us. The Lord ask , what do you have  ?

We have to respond with our own " fish and loaves of bread "

Find what you can give to serve others. If you have money donate to your favorite ministries. You can serve others by offering your talents ...what are you good at...math , english - you can tutor, if you can sing - be a part of the music ministry

You may say oh I don't have a talent...then you can serve with your time...be a lay minister or be a liturgical servant.

There is so much we can offer to serve with Jesus...

Don't wait for your miracle...but be the miracle in others lives...

I am sure in the process you will receive your own miracles...

Creating Your Future Today

Start shifting your attention to things that need your attention today.

You exist today and and your present life exists today.

Remake the lessons learned from your past experiences
and start looking for the next thing and get out there .

Take care of what needs to be done today .

Begin building a new life, a new you .

Once you shift your focus on the present moment - your mind will automatically
 let go of the past.

 Begin focusing on this moment - focus on what you want -
 and take the next step - to be exactly
 where you need to be in the future .

Creating Change

Creating change is not about hoping and praying
but  about being committed.

If we want to change or improve  our situation ,
We need to have a commitment to change or improve our situation .

Commitment is the building block for change and a better life .
Most often , we make the commitment to change our behavior
but when tomorrow comes nothing change.

The we get distracted with trivial things
and then we drifted from our commitment.

When we commit to improve our lives ,
we have to do everything in our strength to make sure that things are getting better.

We have to take action and focus to create the change we need to make .

When we are decided to do the necessary behavioral change
then we will have the take charge attitude
and find the time to do the change we have to make .

When we decide to commit ,
we find that message to our inner mind
and our life starts getting better and improving .

Change begins in me ...

The Gift of Home

I remember when I was young , I was always looking forward in going home for so many reasons ... have to continue reading the latest novels of Harold Robbins or Danielle Steel ... or strum my guitar ... study my lessons ... whatever...

Then when I became a teenager , peer pressure lead me to go out of the house most of the time to just hang around with friends .  Then I graduated from college and ventured to the world of work.

Now that I am much older , I miss the feeling of home ... again to read the books that I bought at the bookstore , though not anymore novels , I have switch wave lengths . now more on the spiritual side and personal development... be with my family ( husband and children ) ... I like eating with my family around me , the more that I enjoy the food that I eat.

Home is where the heart is ... you feel secure and protected ... this is also the place where you weave your dreams ... most of my earlier dreams I have fulfilled ... my kids are college graduates and finding their own career path now...

I am still a part of a company , where I still use my core work on HR - training , manpower sourcing , counseling , career pathing , and other intervening tasks such as strategic planning , organizational development

After a day's work , you look forward to the serenity of your home ... where memories are always a welcome thought to ponder ... where you see your dreams coming to reality...where you can measure the achievement of your career by the things that you accumulated through the years...

My home has gathered a lot of material possessions ... memories... challenges ... things that need repairs now... some housemates are no longer there everyday and has moved to another home nearer work.. some  are even out of the country and has migrated to other countries ...some have change path and are now involve in local politics ... but it still has the same warmth , and loving energy that we enjoy since we transferred there in 1992... yes , we miss are former housemates ...

The desire to beautify , to fix , to improve it ...is still in my heart...my home is in a way a sign of my
accomplishment. I have renovated it a couple of times and has risen to a three story structure with a roof top to enjoy Mother nature ...

We have so many happy memories in our home... forever etched in our heart to ponder and share with others looking for peace in their hearts .

I even read that home can even be compared to heaven ... if there is joy and love then your home is like heaven here on Earth... I will continue to improve , beautify and create memories in my home...

Nothing beats a home like heaven here on earth... have a great life ... enjoy ...and be free

As you get proficient at keeping your inner energy on what it is that you would like to manifest , and you remain loving ,you will attract the coincidences that fit your desire perfectly . This is called managing your coincidences , and it is something that I practice daily. It works.
