Man is what he believes

Believe in yourself.

That is one of my tools for my success . My parents believed in my ability to be a successful person .They supported my studies and nourish my life ambition . They gave me the opportunity to take up the college course that I want . When I decided to work in the province they let me do it .

My work as a guidance counselor at the University of the Assumption San Fernando Pamapanga formed me in my future jobs. While at the Assumption I managed to finish my academic course in MA Guidance and Counseling , an additional achievement for me while working as an counselor .

I worked at Dunkin Donuts initially as a Recruitment Supervisor then eventually as a Personnel and Training Manager . Eventually I earned the trust of the Vice President and President of the company . 

I was given a training store and sent to Bangkok Thailand to attend the Regional Conference Allied Domecq or Dunkin USA .

I also handled Management Training courses for store managers and shop supervisors . My experience in Dunkin enriched my HR experience and my knowledge I again use in my next job as HR Department Head at Papercon Phils where I stayed for 10 years . By the way , I stayed in Dunkin for 15 years . My present work as an HR consultant enables me to use all my work experience.

God has bless me as well and has protected me all my life . I am healthy , strong and well financially . God has prosper me with an abundant life .

Daily Directions

Watching Pastor Joel Osteen over at his YouTube channel talking about daily directions . He was telling us that we need to pray and ask God for daily directions in our life . We may sometimes think that we know what to do with our lives and neglecting God's provision but we may go on but there will be things that we will be missing out .

I remember before in my life I feel as if I have everything I need but something is still missing and I found it from the word of Bro Bo Sanchez in one of his talks , Jesus will complete that missing part that I am looking for in my life . A relationship with God /Jesus will complete our journey in this life .
God will provide that daily direction we need in our every day , we just have to ask for it .

Thank you Lord for loving us and providing for our daily needs.

Empty Nest

My house use to be full of noise with three (3) children around us but nowadays we have an almost empty house as my children have found work in the Middle East and my eldest just got married and establishing his own household now. It is an adjustment indeed as we even build a three story house for our family .

Are you experiencing an empty nest ? As a parent this is quite difficult for us to face as our children are finding their own place in this world. I remember a commercial of McDonalds about a couple who had many children but as the years passed by one by one they are leaving the mother house and the  background music was the song of Noel Cabangon Kanlungan . Quite touching really . That time when I watch that commercial I truly appreciate my mother or my parents as we are seven (7) children in the family . I know their sacrifices for us as they lead us to our success .

Appreciate your parents as they love you so much . God bless us all.

Travelling

Travelling nowadays seems to be life with our millennials generation . You can see pictures of their travels in their social media accounts.And they are even influencing their families as they bring them along with their travel adventures .

Based on my experience , it's really enjoyable travelling as a family as you spend the whole day together ....eating , conversing just anything under the sun , sometimes even doing nothing just let time passing by , just enjoying time together .

I also experiencing travelling alone for work and it was quite difficult eating alone thus you are not motivated to go around as well . So if you have the time and the budget I encourage to spend time with your family members

Ocean Park Adventure

While in Hongkong , we decided to go and visit another tourist attraction and see the Ocean Park . It's on the 2nd day that we decided to go and visit the Panda bear . If it's Cathy's dream to see Disneyland  it's Tin desire to see a real Panda bear ., which is her favorite character in her stuff toys and other souvenir items . Since Daniel was in Palawan that time in his honeymoon so Cathy was the one who search for our tickets . According to the twin , if we buy in Ocean Park our time will be consume on the long lines there . We also tried buying in a 7 11 store but it was too expensive . So Cathy found one in the Net .

So off we went to visit Ocean Park and see the real Panda bear . So this time it's Christine dream of seeing a real Panda bear . We never know if we will still go back to Hongkong in the future.

We even tried a cable car ride off the high mountains of Hongkong . There was even turbulence while riding the  cable car . Honestly quite scary for me who has fear of heights nowadays but mustered all my strength and energy for this once in a lifetime experience . All of us rode the cable car and luckily we finished the ride no choice once you are inside the cable car .

On our way home, there was even a trio singing some beautiful old songs , which I even posted in my You Tube channel .

Hongkong Disneyland Team Santos adventures

It's been sometime that I post my last blog but here I am again and I would like to share the recent Team Santos adventures . As mentioned in my precious blog my twin daughters will be coming home to the Philippines from Abu Dhabi UAE to attend the wedding of their eldest brother . So they came home for 15 - 17 days to be with us and before going back to Abu Dhabi . we had a short vacation in Hongkong for 5 days . Then we visited Hongkong Disneyland . It was such an amazing experience because you are with your family .

Family is life . You get to experience the best because they are around you . We are all back to our regular life of working , finding a better future and making a living . It was Cathy's dream to go to Disneyland . I remember even making as an incentive that if she graduates with honors we will go to Disneyland . But she indeed graduated with honors but if we will all go there as a family the expenses will be a huge amount so I just gifted her with a big cash amount and she agreed Thank God . Now this is her time to shine she said that dreams do really come true .

We were so happy as a family while in Hongkong Disneyland which can be seen in our pictures posted in our Instagram and Facebook accounts .

Thank you Jesus for granting dreams to come true .
