Here's our question for the day :

Where was your home located when you were young ? 

When I was young we stayed at my grandparents house , there was an adjacent duplex where we stayed until I was about 5 years old.  Then we transferred to the apartment owned by my grandparents in the next street , which until now my mother lives .

Did you enjoy living there ? Can you share some childhood memories ?

Yes , being with my six ( 6) siblings . Everyday is a joy with them . I remember studying a lot when I was young . My favorite pastime then was reading novels . I usually save my allowance so I can buy from National Bookstore .   I also remember playing the guitar .

Let us continue knowing our self  by answering  life power questions to help us better know what we want and discover eventually what our life purpose is.

What is your favorite play as a child ? Do you prefer playing alone ? or with other children ?

I remember my favorite play when I was a child was playing as a teacher . My grandparents has a big green gate in their house and I will write today's lesson at that big green gate while my playmates will read what I write in that makeshift blackboard .

Now as a corporate trainer and as an HR Head , I enjoyed conducting seminars or trainings for employees on whatever topic is assigned to me whether client requirements or in leadership development . As long as I can share my knowledge and skills .

Actually I was Training Manager for seven  ( 7) years in Dunkin Donuts Philippines doing a lot of non-technical trainings . My Trainors  takes care of the technical training in production management . With Papercon Phils.Inc. where I stayed for ten ( 10 ) years a lot is in leadership and management development . I really love human development work.

Ten Years in the Future Exercise

I saw this exercise in the net . We are asked to write a letter to a friend as if it was ten years in the future .

How to Write this Letter

This letter to a friend will become a magnetic factor in our life . Our future vision will guide us in our yearly goals , monthly goals and our daily activities .

We must write our letter as if it has already happened . Describe all the details .

What to include in the Ten Year Letter ?

Include where you live , how you earn your living , and your primary relationships . Get creative.

Write about your hobbies and your passion and daily interests . How do you give back to your community and the world ? What are your reading materials ? What do you drive and  where do you travel for vacations ?

How does your daily schedules go , your garden , your office or whatever is really important to you ?

Make your letter at least a page and choose a real person who you think may still know you in the coming ten years .

I have six ( 6) siblings ... Raul , Alice Carandang , Teresa , Margie Khattab, Danilo Liwanag Jr. , Beck

My parents , they derive my name from Mama Mary

I am simply called Marian . I love my name especially I am named after Mama Mary .
